
Richard R. Dewey, Jr.
Richard R. Dewey is currently the President/CEO of Dewey Land Company, Inc. ("DLC") in San Mateo , California . Previously, in 1980, Mr. Dewey was a principal and co-founder of WDT Development in Palo Alto , California . He was instrumental in the expansion of WDT from industrial development to office and retail projects during the 1980s. In 1990, Mr. Dewey formed Dewey Land Company, Inc. During his over 25 years of experience, Mr. Dewey has developed and managed in excess of 4.5 million square feet of commercial and multi-family projects.
His projects have been honored and recognized with various awards and nominations over the course of his career, specifically, (1982) Office Building of the Year; (1983) Nominee for Industrial/R&D Building of the Year; (1988) Nominee for Retail Development of the Year; (1988) Nominee for Developer of the Year; (2001) Office Development of the Year.
Mr. Dewey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Southern California
Ryan D. Guibara
Mr. Guibara joined DLC in 2003. He has been responsible for the repositioning of various assets, involving re-entitlement, construction renovation, asset management and leasing. His other responsibilities have included acquisition oversight and strategic planning and execution, in addition to project disposition.
Mr. Guibara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law and Society from the University of California Santa Barbara , and was awarded academic honors.
Suzanne Zaro
Ms. Zaro joined DLC in 2004. Ms. Zaro is responsible for day-to-day property management, tenant relations, contract management and administration of third-party vendors for the projects. She conducts weekly site visits to all the projects to keep track of any issues or requirements that invariably arise.
Ms. Zaro holds a degree from the Academy of Art College and has a California Real Estate License.
Nancy Shepherd
Ms. Shepherd joined Mr. Dewey at WDT in 1986 and continued on with Mr. Dewey at DLC in 1990. She has 26 years of Controller experience. Ms. Shepherd is a current Board member for the Palo Altons for Government for Effectiveness and was the former president of the Palo Alto Council of PTA .
Ms. Shepherd graduated from AA College of Marin with a business major and is completing her studies online at San Francisco State University for a terminal degree in Business Administration.
